The San Francisco 49ers along with the YMCA and the Simon Youth Foundation hosted a charity event in support of keeping kids out of the street. Approximately 200 guests attended this event, costing $300 per ticket. There was TONS of food, desserts and drinks, a raffle and a silent auction.
It was a GREAT experience. I was one of about three reporters covering the event. I got to meet alumni SF 49ers players, gold rush cheerleaders, very talented event coordinators and great volunteers. For about two hours I took pictures, ate some desserts and interviewed some great people, including Keena Turner, Dwight Clark and JJ Stokes.
