Hola. Mi nombre es Joanna Rentería.
I am a Journalist and I specialize in Social Media.
In May of 2014, I received my Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the California State University of Northridge. Throughout my time at CSUN, I studied and analyzed the transition of journalism to the digital world… by that I mean, social media. How are things changing? How are journalists adapting? Are they?
This should give you an idea as to what I am talking about:
What makes me a Journalist?
Throughout my studies, I have gained experience working in print, radio, digital, and television news. Working for both, english and spanish outlets. I’ve worked as on air talent as well as behind the scenes.
Am I a blogger?
I consider myself a lifestyle blogger. Soy Latina, I do not eat carne (meat) and I am big on health and fitness.
I am constantly working towards becoming a healthier female and sharing that with others.
